Fire Hazard Intelligence

The whole fire lifecycle from one 2 m stack — fuel danger, active-fire under smoke, burn severity, recovery, and a terrain-aware erosion cascade.

Wildfire management is trapped between how often you can look and how clearly you can see: coarse systems (MODIS 500 m, VIIRS 375 m) revisit daily but miss firebreak condition; VHR resolves detail but too infrequently to monitor continuously. ETD breaks the trade-off with enhanced 2 m multispectral twice weekly, 1 m visual daily, and 1 m BaseDEM for terrain. A standardised Fire Hazard Analysis covers the lifecycle: pre-season baseline, pre-fire fuel danger (NDVI/NDMI/MSI → Vegetation Fuel Danger Composite), active-fire awareness (HOT smoke discrimination + SWIR see-through), post-fire severity (USGS dNBR), and recovery (vs same-date-previous-year). Two derived layers extend it: firebreak/fuel-corridor condition, and a terrain-aware post-fire erosion and debris-flow cascade for civil protection.
